Sauna Escape FAQ
Sauna Escape FAQ
Are sauna sessions private?
Sauna sessions are generally private, depending on availability and how busy the booking window is. If shared use is needed, we'll let you know.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable for you. Swimwear, a towel, or loose, breathable clothing are appropriate. We recommend bringing a towel and water.
What's included with my Sauna Escape?
Your booking includes use of your selected sauna and access to the designated Ujima amenities during your scheduled time, including the changing room, shower, pavilion, hammock lounger, water stations, trails, sports field, and kayaks when conditions permit.
Can I use the property before or after my sauna?
All use of the sauna and included amenities must take place within your scheduled booking time. Your time begins and ends at the time reserved.
Are the hot tub and cold plunge included?
Not with a standard Sauna Escape. Both are available through our Sauna Plus upgrade.
How do I check in?
Your reservation confirmation includes arrival and self-check-in instructions. Please arrive at your scheduled time so you can enjoy your full experience.
Are children allowed?
Yes, with responsible adult supervision. Children must be supervised at all times, particularly around the sauna, pond, water, and outdoor areas.
How do I use the sauna safely?
Stay hydrated, take breaks, and start with shorter sessions. Leave the sauna if you feel dizzy, faint, nauseated, or unwell. If you have a condition or circumstance that may make heat exposure unsafe, consult your healthcare provider before using a sauna.
Is Ujima accessible?
Accessibility varies between the two saunas and across the property. Contact us before booking if you have specific accessibility needs so we can help identify the best option.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Sauna experiences can generally take place in a range of weather conditions. If severe weather creates unsafe conditions, we may modify or reschedule your experience and will contact you directly.
What should I bring?
Water, a towel, comfortable clothing, or swimwear, and weather-appropriate footwear. You are welcome to bring personal items that make your experience more comfortable.
